Surfaces and Strategies – Work In Progress Portfolio – Version 2

Version 2

The sequencing is based on top to toe.  I based it on how I look at a person when I first meet them, starting with their eyes.  This is very cliche on reflection and does not portray the portfolio to its best.  I have selected images based on their position in the sequence, not on their merits. The choice of images is hence still not correct, with some featuring more abstraction than others.  The triptych that includes the genitals is out of kilter with the other images.  Also, the eyes image which is the first in the sequence offers too much identity and does not have the same level of anonymity as the other images.

The triptych that includes the genitals is out of kilter with the other images as it is much more explicit in content and is less about the forms.  Also, the eyes image which is the first in the sequence reveals too much about the person’s identity and does not have the same level of anonymity as the other images.

Whilst the project seems to flow more coherently and is more consistent with the purely black background, the portfolio still does not work.
